This hose is really good, the swivel cuffs are great and reduce kinks while trying to vaccume. Be sure you have the proper adapter to attach this hose to your skimmer basket, no reducer came with this hose. I needed a reducer to fit this one onto my skimmer, luckily old adapter I had fit just fine onto the this hose 1.5" diameter.
The picture of this hose makes it appear that it's made of different material than the it's 30' hose, but it does not look like the picture indicates, it's just light-blue as all of the other hose products are from this vender that I have seen. They should change the picture of this item to more accurately reflect it's appearance.
I hope it's durable enough to make it through multipule seasons, we'll have to see. This does not appear to be a 2-ply or mixed material hose. My last hose appeared to be made of more durable materials than this one.

What else is there to say? Still holding up months later. Swivel ends are very helpful in preventing the hose from getting tangled or coming loose.

In my opinion this hose would probably last 1 season in the Vegas heat. I had my last hose 9 yrs and lets just say they sure dont make things like they used to. Also it is NOT 45 feet long! I am sending it back tomorrow. The hose sent to me is light blue and thin plastic not the dark and light blue as pictured.
