Our son (1 year) loved this travel bed during our trip to Hawaii. It makes an outstanding substitute for hotel cribs which can be iffy. I highly recommend it but offer these two minuses we experienced: 1. the strap for the carry bag broke before we even made it through airport security! (I don't know who had luggage that would fit this cot! We took it as a carry-on.) and 2. the sheets for the mattress shrank when we washed them and wouldn't stay on the mattress pad (luckily my son didn't mind sleeping directly on the pad). The mosquito netting came in handy, too! Overall it was our best buy for our trip!

Place and i dont have to worry about him falling off of the bed. The zipper on the top works great
When he woke up it allowed him to be able to stand up. Very easy to put together and super compact.
Easy to store and take with you anywhere. Cons: the mattress is thin . I used a child sized sleeping bag to give it some more padding.

This is an amazing travel cot. We now use it as our sons regular bed instead of a crib! We installed our kids bunk beds and put this on the lower bunk. The fabric the tent is made of is like a soft cotton, the mesh is heavy duty and so are the zippers. Everything on the tent is of good quality. The top unzips and allows them to stand up, and the tent is sturdy enough to not tip over or collapse. The mattress is foam, and not very thick so if you were to put it on rocky or very hard ground it wouldn't be very comfortable but this isn't really an outdoor tent. The fabric is not water resistant or anything so you would only use it outside on sunny, dry days and you would need the sunshade which you need to buy separately. The tent itself is easy to assemble, very light, and comes with a nice carry case.
I gave this 4 stars because I would have liked the sunshade to have been included for the price (in Canada you can buy it at mec.ca for $129 plus an extra $22 for the sunshade) and the matress could have been made a bit thicker.
Perfect for indoor use but limited for outdoor uses. I felt this was the best quality cot on the market for my use (an indoor safe bed for small child).
My kids love it, we may need to buy another for my daughter! To give you an idea of size, my 2.5 year old and my 6 month old can sleep inside comfortably.
